The Lamella lamp, designed by the duo Hallgeir Homstvedt and Jonah Takagi, is a continuation of earlier models from Le Klint. With its form, the lamp perfectly fits into various interior arrangements. This collection is inspired by the delicate, curved lines on the underside of a mushroom cap, known as lamellae. The structure of the pleated shade, combined with a soft yet precisely crafted silhouette, is a distinctive feature of the Lamella design.

The use of classic Le Klint craftsmanship in paper pleating and patented techniques for shaping flat objects forms the foundation of this series. This almost paradoxical production method allows for the creation of a lamp that perfectly combines the current trend of retro-organic forms with contemporary consumers’ expectations for authentic design grounded in a strong historical foundation.
