Flos presented the best-seller SPLGEN BRU: the ceiling lamp made of polished aluminium designed by the brothers Achille and Pier Giacomo Castiglioni in 1961. With SPLGEN BRU the designers evoke a traditional semispheric shape making it particularly modern thanks to its materials. Dynamism and elegance, together with the traditional research of innovative and industrial materials, characterizes also this work of the designers from Milan, who have given a fundamental contribution to the history of Italian design.
