Pendant lamp VL Ring Crown 1 belongs to the family of fixtures designed by Danish architect Vilhelm Lauritzen in the 1940s for the Danish Radio building in Copenhagen. Although the original VL Ring Crown model was not used there, a version based on Lauritzen’s original drawings was created shortly after. In 1947, designer Finn Juhl used this lamp in the interior design of the Bing & Grndahl porcelain factory in Copenhagen. In 2019, the model was reintroduced into production in accordance with the original concept, made of unlacquered, polished brass and hand-blown opal glass with three layers.

The lamp emits light directed mainly downward. The hand-blown opal glass provides soft, even, and pleasant lighting for the space around the fixture. The combination of classic design and noble materials gives it a timeless, elegant character.
